About Us

Hekima School, located in Ngong, Kenya, is a Christian faith-based institution committed to providing quality education from daycare through junior secondary school. We operate under the Kenyan new education system, the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC), ensuring that our students receive a well-rounded and holistic education that prepares them for the future.

The name “Hekima” means “Wisdom” in Swahili, a core value that we hold dear at our school. Our slogan, “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom” (Psalms 111:10), reflects our belief in the importance of integrating faith and learning. This guiding principle inspires our students to pursue knowledge and character development grounded in Christian values.

Githinji Gichuhi

College Administrator

Githinji Gichuhi oversees the overall operations of the college, including academic programs and extracurricular activities. He delivers lectures and practical training sessions on hospitality management, manages the college’s budget and financial resources, enforces college policies, and ensures compliance with educational regulations. Githinji also supervises, trains, and evaluates both teaching and non-teaching staff, handles student disciplinary issues, and maintains a safe learning environment. Additionally, he builds relationships with parents, local businesses, and the community.

Miriam Mumbi

School Director/ Administrator

Miriam is a passionate and dedicated director and administrator at Hekima Education Centre. at the outskirts of Nairobi. Hekima is a small but dynamic institution located at the outskirts of Nairobi, Kenya. Miriam oversees the daily operations of the centre. She ensures that both staff and students have the resources and support they need to meet their goals. Her leadership and organizational skills have been instrumental in fostering a nurturing and efficient learning environment.
